Once Again, Foreign Energy Reliance Spawns Moral Depravity (From RealClearEnergy)

March 18, 2022March 18, 2022Paul Steidler

The United States has the resources, skilled workforce, and sophisticated technology to become the world’s dominant producer of all types of energy. Events in Ukraine are the latest illustration of why there is also a compelling moral imperative do so. Americans have had to fight and die to keep foreign oil supplies coming. For some, it feels good to shutdown American oil drilling on the naïve belief that what oil we need can be produced some place else. And if we are not producing oil in our communities, well, then everything is OK. Except that it isn’t. Lexington Institute’s Paul Steidler discusses this in an Op-Ed in RealClearEnergy here.
