Postal Service Board Lacks Experience — And Bodies (From Scripps Television)

August 19, 2020August 26, 2020Paul Steidler

In a segment for Scripps Television stations, Lexington Senior Fellow Paul Steidler assured the public that the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors deserves its confidence. The controversies over vote-by-mail and new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s efforts to reduce costs have led some to question the board’s independence.

“The public should have a lot of confidence in these governors,” Steidler told Scripps. “These governors are successful executives. Their reputations are at stake.”
