In Aaron Gregg’s Washington Post article, Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson comments on Boeing’s decision to withdraw from a Pentagon program to replace ground-based nuclear missiles. Thompson notes that Northrup Grumman, which remains the sole bidder, is “headed for a monopoly,” saying, “One company would have a monopoly on the nuclear deterrent. I just don’t see Congress being comfortable with that.”
