Three Huge Defense Threats For Which Washington Is Woefully Under-Prepared (From Forbes)

The U.S. spends more money on defense than any other country, and as a result has the best trained, best equipped military in the world. However, that doesn’t mean Washington is adequately prepared to cope with all dangers to national security. Three threats could so devastate the nation that continuation of democratic government might be cast in doubt: artificially engineered pandemics, undeterrable nuclear actors, and a collapsed power grid. Unfortunately, all three possibilities are within reach of one or more of the nation’s foreign adversaries. I have written a commentary for Forbes here.
