Trump Goes After China On Postal Rates (From Kearney Hub of Kearney, NE)

Commenting on the disparity of postal rates between the U.S. and China, the Kearney Hub’s editorial team cites information from Lexington’s Paul Steidler. China currently benefits from favorable rates set by the Universal Postal Union, but President Trump has sought to redress the balance. “Steidler said that until recently, China has dominated the UPU, but that might be changing because in August 2018, the Trump Administration began a campaign to reform the UPU,” the paper reported.
