While the Postal Service’s financial condition continues to deteriorate, Congress is basically going nowhere when it comes to passing reform legislation. As a stopgap measure, Congress should strengthen the Postal Service’s regulators – its Board of Governors, Inspector General and the Postal Regulatory Commission.
