On June 5th The Wall Street Journal published a feature on the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. The museum is an excellent immersion in the dramatic history of that war, as well as a look at the social policies at home and how America responded internally to this global political upheaval.
The museum also has powerful displays of factory floors and manufacturing processes that remind us of the never-ending debate in our nation about the defense industrial base and the need to keep it healthy.
The Lexington Institute congratulates our colleague Jim Courter for the work he has done in recent years helping the World War II Museum expand its coverage of the greatest overseas conflict in which our nation has ever engaged.
